George Washington is one of our country’s most notable figures. Raised British and later led the Revolutionary War, He was also the first top military general in charge of all American forces. He served as America’s first president and today is revered as the Father of our country. He is called “The Father of the Country” which means the country was founded with him as its first leader. He is the military commander of the country. It’s really hard to choose between the two. I think the most important is that the country was founded with him as its first leader.
