April Fools Day

April Fools’ Day is celebrated on the first day of April every year. It’s a day where people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other, usually with the aim of making someone look foolish. The origin of April Fools Day is unclear, but some believe it dates back to ancient Rome when people celebrated the vernal equinox by playing pranks on one another. Others think it started in France in 1564 when King Charles IX changed the calendar and those who didn’t get the memo were considered fools! Whatever its origin, April Fools Day remains a popular holiday around the world today.
